Amsterdam, 21 November 2016 – LeaseWeb, one of the world’s largest hosting brands, and security specialist, Northwave, today announced a strategic partnership to offer clients advanced managed security services. LeaseWeb clients are now able to put their IT environments under the permanent protection of the Northwave Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT).
The partnership is set up to guide and advise LeaseWeb customers on all security related topics. As part of this new service, Northwave will deploy Security Incident and Event Management system (SIEM) to permanently monitor client IT environments to detect cyber security breaches. The Northwave Security Operations Center responds to incidents and helps clients mitigate against growing cyber risks. This new service leads to improved IT security as well as compliance with ever stricter privacy regulations, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The new security services are delivered as a tailor made extension to the Leaseweb Private Cloud, Dedicated Hosting and co-location services and available December 1st 2016.
